متى تستخدم “will” و“going to” والمضارع المستمر؟

Two adults prepare several dishes using different cooking methods.

اختر صيغة المستقبل حسب المعنى: المضارع المستمر لخطة محددة مع شخص أو في مكان أو وقت معيّن (“I’m meeting my family on Sunday.”)، و“going to” لشيء قررته من قبل (“I’m going to cook in advance.”)، و“will” للآراء والعروض والوعود والقرارات التي تتخذها أثناء الكلام (“I think we’ll waste less food.”).

Read a balanced response

Two adults prepare several dishes using different cooking methods.

My family currently shares most evening meals, although everyone is working longer hours this month. Cooking together is cheaper and gives us time to talk, but it is not practical every night. My sister is meeting friends for dinner on Thursday, and I am having a late class, so we are going to prepare two meals in advance. Some people think fixed family meals will disappear because schedules are becoming less predictable. I think they will remain valuable, but families will use them more flexibly. We are going to protect Sunday lunch and accept simpler arrangements during the week. I’ll create a shared menu tonight, and I’ll help my brother learn two quick dishes. This plan respects independence while keeping one reliable point of contact.

؛ والصواب “She is working now.”

  • “She eats out on Fridays, but she doesn’t order dessert.”
  • “More local cafés are offering low-fat dishes.”
  • الأسئلة: “Do you eat fish?” تسأل عن عادة، و“Are you trying a new recipe tonight?”
  • ظروف التكرار: تأتي “usually” و“never” قبل الفعل الأساسي وبعد “be”، وتأتي “once a week” في آخر الجملة. “Owen usually brings lunch, but he is never early on Mondays and eats out once a week.”

أفعال الحالة مثل “want” و“need” و“know” و“prefer” تبقى في الصيغة البسيطة حتى لو كانت الحالة صحيحة الآن: “I want a snack, but I don’t need a full meal.”

  • “I think the soup tastes good.”
  • “The chef is tasting it, and we are having lunch.”

في المحادثة أعلاه يستخدم أحد المتحدثَين الصيغ الثلاث: “I’m meeting my family on Sunday”, “I’m going to cook in advance”, “I think we’ll waste less food”، ولكل منها معنى مختلف.

I’m meeting my half-sister at the station at six.”
My cousin is going to invite the extended family.”
Those tables are unstable; the display is going to fall.”
The award ceremony will be on Thursday, and I think the new venue will work well.”
The printer has stopped. I’ll call the technician.”
I’ll collect your stepmother if you like.” “I’ll bring the cake, and I won’t forget the candles.”
  • “shall”: “Shall I collect the keys?” (عرض للمساعدة)، و“Shall we meet at reception?”

  • “How often does your household eat together, and is that changing at the moment?”
  • “Do you think family meals will become less common? Why, or why not?”
  • “What are you going to change in your own week, and what have you already arranged?”

تطلب مهمة الكتابة المضارع البسيط والمستمر وخطة مرتّبة و“going to” و“will” و“won’t”.

Cooking together is cheaper and gives us time to talk, but it is not practical every night.”
Some people think… I think…”

  • “I will meet my family on Sunday” لموعد محدد مسبقًا. قل “I’m meeting my family on Sunday.”
  • “She working now.” المضارع المستمر يحتاج إلى “am” أو “is” أو “are”: “She is working now.”
  • “I call the technician?” قل “Shall I call the technician?” أو، إذا قررت الآن، “I’ll call the technician.”
  • “I’m wanting a snack.” أفعال الحالة تبقى بسيطة: “I want a snack.”

ما الفرق بين “will” و“going to”؟

تُستخدم “going to” لقرار اتُّخذ قبل الكلام، أو لتوقّع مبني على دليل تراه: “The display is going to fall.” وتُستخدم “will” للقرارات أثناء الكلام والعروض والوعود والآراء: “I think the new venue will work well.”

نعم، للخطط المحددة مع شخص أو مكان أو وقت: “I’m meeting my half-sister at the station at six.”
