Use this courteous frame for the item you want. It is more suitable here than the direct Je veux.
Comment dit-on… ?: How do you say…?
Use this when a noun is missing. Add the English word or describe the object, then repeat the French word the listener supplies.
C’est combien ?: How much is it?
Use this to ask the price of the current item or total; listen for euros and cents before confirming.
