Are Flalingo's Prices Affordable?

As of October 2026, Flalingo packages that include 1 lesson per week (25 minutes) range from $26 to $64 per month. The lowest price is for the 12-month package purchased with the FLA60 code. The code does not apply to the 1-month package, which costs $64. Assuming 4 lessons per month, the cost per lesson decreases from $16 to $6.40, depending on the commitment period.
The first question everyone researching online English courses asks is how much they cost. This article answers that question with figures. However, simply comparing monthly fees side by side can be misleading. The same amount might get you a 25-minute lesson from one provider, while another may also include reports, exercises, and materials. That is why we have listed what each package includes alongside its price.
If you quit the cheapest course after three months because you see no progress and then start over elsewhere, it ultimately becomes the most expensive option. Flalingo bases its pricing not on a single lesson hour, but on the system surrounding each lesson. Teachers selected through interviews, FLAI reports delivered after every lesson, and personalized smart materials are all part of this system. The goal is structured, trackable progress.
For packages that include 1 lesson per week (25 minutes), the 1-month price is $64. With the FLA60 code, the monthly price drops to $45 for 3 months, $38 for 6 months, and $26for 12 months. The 12-month package costs $307 in total, with 48 lessons costing $6.40 each. Personalized smart materials are included in all packages, while FLAI reports are included in the price of the 6- and 12-month packages.
Flalingo Prices 2026: Current Package Table
The table below shows the prices for a one-on-one plan with one 25-minute lesson per week across four commitment periods. The 3-, 6-, and 12-month prices include the FLA60 code discount. The pricing-page links in this article open with the code already applied, so you will see the same figures on the page. The code does not apply to the one-month package.
The cost per lesson in the table was calculated assuming 4 lessons per month (1 lesson per week for 4 weeks). The total payment is the monthly price multiplied by the package duration.
| Package | Monthly price | Total payment | Per lesson |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month 4 lessons | $64 /month FLA60 does not apply | $64 | $16 |
| 3 months 12 lessons | $45 /month FLA60 30% | $134 | $11 |
| 6 months 24 lessons | $38 /month FLA60 40% | $229 | $9.55 |
| 12 months Lowest cost per lesson 48 lessons | $26 /month FLA60 60% | $307 | $6.40 |
The difference is easier to see in the total cost. If you spend 12 months renewing one-month packages, you will pay $766. The same 12 months cost $307 with the 12-month package purchased using the FLA60 code, a difference of approximately $458. The difference is approximately $154 for the 6-month package and approximately $57 for the 3-month package.
Payment is made for the package's total price. Installment options for credit card payments may vary depending on your bank and the promotional period. You can view the current options on the payment screen.
Options for 3, 5, or 7 lessons per week and 50-minute lessons
One lesson per week is a good way to get to know the system and establish a routine. If you want to progress faster, Flalingo offers 25- or 50-minute lessons 1, 3, 5, or 7 days per week. The table below shows the monthly price for every option. The 1-month prices do not include a code discount, while the FLA60 discount has been applied to the 3-, 6-, and 12-month prices.
| Weekly lessons | 25 minutes | 50 minutes |
|---|---|---|
| 1-month commitment (code does not apply) | ||
| 1 lesson per week | $64 | $125 |
| 3 lessons per week | $187 | $367 |
| 5 lessons per week | $306 | $599 |
| 7 lessons per week | $428 | $857 |
| 3-month commitment (FLA60 30% applied) | ||
| 1 lesson per week | $45 | $89 |
| 3 lessons per week | $134 | $268 |
| 5 lessons per week | $223 | $446 |
| 7 lessons per week | $312 | $625 |
| 6-month commitment (FLA60 40% applied) | ||
| 1 lesson per week | $38 | $77 |
| 3 lessons per week | $115 | $230 |
| 5 lessons per week | $191 | $383 |
| 7 lessons per week | $268 | $535 |
| 12-month commitment (FLA60 60% applied) | ||
| 1 lesson per week | $26 | $51 |
| 3 lessons per week | $77 | $153 |
| 5 lessons per week | $128 | $255 |
| 7 lessons per week | $179 | $322 |
To find the total amount, simply multiply the monthly price by the package duration. For example, on the 25-minute plan with 3 lessons per week, the monthly price of the 12-month package is $77, for a total of $919. With 12 lessons per month, the cost per lesson is approximately $6.38, which is almost the same as the plan with 1 lesson per week. The main factor that reduces the cost per lesson is the commitment period. The number of weekly lessons makes little difference to the cost per lesson, while 50-minute lessons are priced at approximately twice the rate of 25-minute lessons. You can see the current price of your chosen plan on the pricing page. We also explain which plan makes sense for your goals in the Flalingo Package Selection Guide.
How does the cost per lesson change based on the commitment period?
The chart shows how much one lesson costs on the 25-minute plan with 1 lesson per week. The biggest drop occurs when moving from the 1-month package to the 3-month package. With FLA60, the cost per lesson falls from $16 to $11. The second major drop comes with the 12-month package, when the cost falls from $9.55 to $6.40.
What Is Included in the Price?
The fee you pay at Flalingo includes the teacher, FLAI, and learning materials. You can see which features are included in each package in the table at the end of this section.
Teacher: an instructor selected through interviews who remains consistent
Only 1 out of every 73 teachers who apply to Flalingo is accepted onto the platform. The selection process includes a multi-stage interview, a sample lesson evaluation, an analysis of pedagogical competence, and technical tests. Instructors are required to hold a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certificate (instructor selection criteria). The performance of accepted teachers is also monitored continuously. If student satisfaction, lesson attendance, or FLAI analyses fall below the established standard, the instructor is removed from the platform.
The difference reflected most in the price, however, is consistency. Smart Match recommends between 22 and 30 teachers based on the 18 data points it collects during registration. Your level, goals, availability, accent preference, and preferred teacher personality are just a few of these data points. The algorithm also considers each teacher's lesson load when making recommendations. As a result, students on Flalingo have a greater than 90% chance of being able to book lessons with the same teacher. Because you do not have to introduce yourself again in every lesson, you can devote the full 25 minutes to learning.

FLAI: a report after every lesson
FLAI transcribes what is said during the live lesson and evaluates it across three dimensions. For accuracy, it shows your errors in tenses, prepositions, and sentence structure, along with examples and the correct forms. For fluency, it measures your words per minute, frequency of pauses, and proportion of filler words. For vocabulary diversity, it breaks down the words you use by CEFR level. The report provides you with a three-item action list and gives your teacher recommendations for targeted interventions tailored to you.
The errors in the report are transferred to Flomework. Flomework uses the mistakes you made during the lesson to generate fill-in-the-blank, matching, multiple-choice, and sentence-ordering exercises, adjusting the difficulty based on your performance. This infrastructure is powered by continuously running AI models and cloud servers. This is another component reflected in the price. FLAI reports and personalized exercises are included in the 6- and 12-month packages.

Curriculum: Personalized smart materials
All packages give you access to high-quality educational content prepared by English language experts. The personalized smart materials system selects, organizes, and personalizes the most suitable content for your learning journey based on your level, learning needs, interests, and performance in live lessons. You can progress through structured courses or take free conversation or exam preparation lessons.
Once you have completed 30 hours of lessons on the platform, you can obtain a digital certificate issued in your name through the system. On the 25-minute plan with 1 lesson per week, it takes 72 weeks to reach 30 hours, while taking 3 lessons per week reduces this period to 24 weeks.
In addition, every student is assigned an education advisor. Your advisor monitors your progress using FLAI data and works with you to revise your program when necessary. Live support is also available 24/7 for technical questions.

How Should You Compare Flalingo with Other Options?
With traditional private lessons, the teacher sets the price. Lesson duration, materials, and support outside class also vary from teacher to teacher. On online platforms that operate as marketplaces, the price is also usually set by the teacher.
The easiest way to compare lessons of different lengths is the cost per minute. At Flalingo, a 25-minute lesson costs $0.26 per minute with the 12-month package purchased using the FLA60 code, and $0.64 per minute with the 1-month package. When considering another offer, do the same calculation, then check what is included in the price. The questions below are designed to help with this.
Is This Investment Worth It? Calculating ROI
It is difficult to measure the return on a language course in monetary terms. We cannot calculate in this article what a job offer or scholarship might be worth to you. What can be calculated is how many hours of study you receive in return for the money you pay.
According to Cambridge English, progressing from one CEFR level to the next requires approximately 200 hours of guided learning. This includes time spent in class and work assigned by the teacher. A plan with 1 25-minute lesson per week provides 48 lessons a year, or 20 hours of live instruction. With 3 lessons per week, this rises to 60 hours, and with 5 lessons per week, to 100 hours. The rest of the 200 hours is filled by study outside class: Flomework exercises based on the mistakes in your FLAI report, speaking practice with FLAI Speaking, and personalized smart materials.
User feedback indicates that FLAI reports help reduce repeated mistakes. Language-learning research points in the same direction. Shaofeng Li's meta-analysis of 33 studies (Language Learning, 2010) found that corrective feedback on errors had a moderate effect on language development.
The two scenarios below were calculated using the 25-minute packages with 1 lesson per week from the table above and FLA60 prices.
In both scenarios, 1 lesson per week is not enough to reach the goal on its own; it becomes meaningful when combined with study outside class. If your interview is within 6 months, 3 lessons per week is a more realistic plan. With FLA60, the 6-month package with 3 25-minute lessons per week costs $115 per month and $689 in total. In return, you receive 72 lessons, or 30 hours of live instruction.
Who Are Flalingo's Prices Suitable For?
Flalingo does not offer the lowest price on the market. The fee you pay also covers the support system built around the lesson. The people who benefit most from this system are those who want to take regular lessons with the same teacher and know what to work on after each lesson. If you can commit to 6 or 12 months, FLA60 reduces the cost per lesson to between $9.55 and $6.40, and FLAI reports are included in the package.
If you only want to practice conversation a few times, the calculation changes. With the 1-month package, the cost per lesson is $16, and there is no FLAI report. If you want to see how the system works before deciding, you can start with a $2 trial lesson. This fee is refunded if you are not satisfied. After purchasing a package, you also have the right to an unconditional refund within 30 days.
